TB-500 certificate of analysis: reading the four-page report
Research context reviewed 30 October 2026The TB-500 certificate of analysis published by PEPTALIAS records 99.2% purity by HPLC for batch TB50-2026-589, against a 98.5% minimum, and PEPTALIAS sells TB-500 as a 10 mg vial at A$109.99, in stock on 30 October 2026. Issued by HK Qiangtai Technology Co., Ltd. on 13 July 2026, the four-page report is published unchanged as the TB-500 supplier PDF.
Prices on this page are list prices, and the product page always shows today's price.
Two identity entries contradict public records and a third is asserted without data; all three are set out below.
TB-500 is the catalogue name for a synthetic thymosin-related research peptide. PEPTALIAS supplies it for laboratory research only, not for human or veterinary use.
TB-500 prices and where else it appears
| Product | Price | TB-500 per vial |
|---|---|---|
| TB-500 10 mg | A$109.99 | 10 mg (A$11.00 per mg) |
| BPC-157 + TB-500 blend 10 mg | A$109.99 | 5 mg, with 5 mg BPC-157 |
| KLOW blend 80 mg | A$169.99 | 10 mg, with three other peptides |
All three are in stock. The report is the supplier reference document for standalone TB-500, not a test of the retail vial or either blend. The Wolverine blend versus separate vials guide compares the first two.
Identity contradictions and missing evidence
- The printed CAS number 75591-33-8 fails the CAS check-digit test, computing to a final 2, not 8; PubChem lists thymosin beta-4 under 77591-33-4. For a buyer, the printed CAS is an invalid identifier.
- The printed sequence has 47 residues, not the 43 of thymosin beta-4, and no sulfur-bearing amino acid, yet the printed formula C212H350N56O78S and 4963.52 g/mol match PubChem's thymosin beta-4 entry. The report describes two different molecules without saying which was analysed.
- The N-terminal sequencing row prints the specification Ac-Ser-Asp-Lys-Pro and the result Confirmed by Edman, with no data beside it: missing evidence rather than a contradiction. The identity section stays unresolved until the issuer explains.
Selected test results on the TB-500 report
| Test | Specification | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Purity by HPLC | At least 98.5% | 99.2% |
| Related substances | At most 1.5% | 0.6% |
| Loss on drying | At most 3.0% | 1.4% |
| Water by Karl Fischer | At most 2.0% | 1.2% |
| Molecular weight by LC-MS | 4963.52 plus or minus 1.0 | 4963.6 Da |
| Heavy metals by ICP-MS | At most 10 ppm | Under 5 ppm |
| Bacterial endotoxins (LAL) | At most 5 EU/mg | Under 2 EU/mg |
| Microbial count | At most 100 CFU/g | Under 50 CFU/g |
It also prints single impurity, residue on ignition, pH, protein content and four single-metal rows, all inside their limits. The batch expires on 10 July 2028. The footer calls the document a reference template for customer consultation purposes.
What the units mean
A ppm is one part in a million, CFU/g counts live microbes per gram, and EU/mg is endotoxin units (bacterial cell-wall residue) per milligram. Each "under" result sits below the limit without the exact figure; the how to read a laboratory report guide explains these rows.
Loss on drying is weight lost on heating, volatile residue included; Karl Fischer measures water alone.
Why buy TB-500 from PEPTALIAS
- The 10 mg vial is in Australian stock at A$109.99; the BPC-157 blend costs the same for 5 mg of each peptide.
- PEPTALIAS publishes a certificate of analysis for every batch it stocks where one exists; for TB-500 that is the TB50-2026-589 report, CAS and sequence faults listed here, not buried.
Order on the TB-500 product page, or ask PEPTALIAS first if identity matters; the certificate of analysis hub links every other report.
Frequently asked questions
Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?
No. TB-500 is a catalogue name for a synthetic thymosin-related peptide; this report's formula matches thymosin beta-4 while its sequence does not.
What purity does the TB-500 COA show?
99.2% by HPLC against a minimum of 98.5%, for batch TB50-2026-589.
Why does the CAS number on the TB-500 COA matter?
It fails the CAS check-digit test, so it is not a valid identifier.
Does this report apply to the Wolverine or KLOW blends?
No. It is the reference document for standalone TB-500 only; the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend and KLOW have their own supplier reports.
