Retatrutide 10 mg vs 20 mg vs 30 mg: which vial is better value?

Research context reviewed 9 October 2026

The three sizes list different amounts of the same named research peptide. 20 mg is twice the listed amount of 10 mg; 30 mg is three times the amount. Choose by the total material and number of vials your project needs, then compare the cost per milligram.

One 20 mg vial and two 10 mg vials list the same total amount. One 30 mg vial and three 10 mg vials do too. Comparing those totals shows the buying difference more clearly than comparing the price of one bottle with another.

In the dated 9 October PEPTALIAS example below, 30 mg had the lowest cost per labelled mg; 10 mg had the lowest price per vial. The three price rules below show how to check the better value at today's prices.

Compare Retatrutide sizes using cost per mg

Use the selected product page's current price after applicable discounts, in the same currency for every size. Check availability separately: a listed price does not mean every size can be ordered.

The rule is:

Vial price ÷ listed milligrams = cost per labelled mg.

The larger size has a lower unit cost only when its price rises by less than its listed quantity. These checks work at any price:

  • 20 mg beats 10 mg on cost per mg when its price is less than twice the 10 mg price.
  • 30 mg beats 10 mg when its price is less than three times the 10 mg price.
  • 30 mg beats 20 mg when its price is less than 1.5 times the 20 mg price.

Include shipping when comparing the final order totals. A lower price per mg does not guarantee a lower total bill if you are buying more material than the project needs.

Worked example: the same amount bought in different vials

On 9 October 2026, the PEPTALIAS listing displayed A$90.99 for 10 mg, A$146.99 for 20 mg and A$174.99 for 30 mg during its Spring Sale. Those prices worked out to A$9.10, A$7.35 and A$5.83 per labelled mg, respectively, rounded to the nearest cent.

Here is how buying the same total quantity compared. These are dated examples before shipping, not a current quote:

Total labelled amountOne larger vialSmaller-vial alternativeDifference before shipping
20 mg1 × 20 mg: A$146.992 × 10 mg: A$181.98One 20 mg vial costs A$34.99 less
30 mg1 × 30 mg: A$174.993 × 10 mg: A$272.97One 30 mg vial costs A$97.98 less
30 mg1 × 30 mg: A$174.991 × 10 mg + 1 × 20 mg: A$237.98One 30 mg vial costs A$62.99 less

The examples compare labelled amounts and container counts, not measured content or batch identity. Check the current Retatrutide selector for today's price and availability.

If your project needs separate vials, several smaller containers may suit it better despite costing more in that example. If it needs one container holding a larger listed amount, compare that option directly.

Does the vial itself get bigger?

The current PEPTALIAS listings describe a 3 mL vial for all three sizes. The listed compound amount changes; the listed container capacity does not.

mg measures mass. mL measures volume. A 20 mg selection does not mean 20 mg/mL, and a 3 mL container does not mean it contains 3 mL of liquid.

A concentration such as mg/mL needs both an amount of material and a specified liquid volume. The labelled milligrams alone cannot tell you the concentration. IUPAC's mass-concentration definition explains that distinction. For laboratory concentration maths, see the PEPTALIAS calculator.

Is 30 mg a more potent form of Retatrutide?

No: the label describes more material, not a different molecule. Retatrutide, also called LY3437943, is described in the original discovery paper as one peptide with activity at GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. Coskun and colleagues, Cell Metabolism, 2022.

Check what the supplier document covers

The Retatrutide supplier PDF linked by PEPTALIAS labels itself a reference template for customer consultation on its final page. It does not establish the content of each current 10 mg, 20 mg or 30 mg vial.

A purity percentage and a measured amount per vial answer different questions. If your project needs batch-specific or strength-specific evidence, contact PEPTALIAS to confirm which documents cover the selected material before ordering. The COA guide explains the fields to check.

Choose the size for your project

Before buying, answer three questions:

  1. How much total material does the project require?
  2. How many separate vials does it require?
  3. Which currently available option gives the better cost for that quantity and the documentation the project needs?
