GHK-Cu certificate of analysis: purity, copper content and prices

Research context reviewed 30 October 2026

The GHK-Cu certificate of analysis on PEPTALIAS reports 99.98% purity by HPLC for batch GHK20260628, with copper at 11.51% of the sample mass, and the 50 mg and 100 mg vials cost A$69.99 and A$99.99 on 30 October 2026. One row on the same page is outside the supplier's own limit: loss on drying came in at 5.27% against a maximum of 5.0%.

Prices on this page are list prices, and the product page always shows today's price.

The report is the manufacturer's own document, not an independent test and not a test of the vial you receive. This page sets out what each row means and what the failed drying row leaves unresolved. PEPTALIAS products are supplied for lawful research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

The footer calls the document a reference template for customer consultation, so GHK20260628 is the batch printed on that template, not a lot number tied to your vial. The full PDF is published as received.

Purity, copper and identity are three different things

The document reports 99.98% HPLC purity, the share of the trace assigned to the main peak. It does not establish the whole powder's make-up or the identity and content of a supplied vial. Copper is a separate row: ICP-MS measured 11.51% of the sample mass as copper. A 50 mg label refers to the copper peptide complex, not to copper alone.

Identity is where the document is weakest. ESI-MS, a test that identifies a molecule from its mass, is marked as compliant with no observed mass printed, and the printed formula C34H52N8O7Cu does not agree with the printed weight of 401.91 g/mol (that formula works out near 748). Identity and salt form need clarification from the supplier.

The failed drying row and the two dates

Loss on drying is weight lost on heating: water plus any other volatile material. The 5.27% result exceeds the supplier's 5.0% limit, while the separate Karl Fischer water result, also 5.27%, stays inside its own 8.0% limit. It does not establish how much dry material is in the vial you receive. Ask us for the supplier's comment on the 5.27% result before ordering if water content matters to your work.

The PDF also prints two manufacture dates, 28 June and 1 July 2026, and no expiry date, so no single confirmed expiry can be calculated from the 24 month shelf life line.

Why buy GHK-Cu from PEPTALIAS

At A$1.00 per mg the 100 mg vial is the pick unless you need only 50 mg. PEPTALIAS publishes a certificate of analysis for every batch it stocks where one exists, and for GHK-Cu that is the 99.98% report for GHK20260628, shown with its failed drying row, double date and formula gap. Choose a size on the product page; if identity matters to your work, ask us for the supplier's observed mass and salt form first. Every other supplier report is listed on the certificate of analysis hub.

Frequently asked questions

What purity does the GHK-Cu COA show?

99.98% by HPLC for batch GHK20260628, against a printed minimum of 98.0%.

Why does the GHK-Cu COA show two manufacture dates?

The PDF prints 28 June 2026 in one place and 1 July 2026 in another, with no printed expiry, so the expiry cannot be fixed from the document.

Does the loss on drying result mean the batch failed?

That row is outside the supplier's own 5.0% limit at 5.27%. The document does not say what that means for the dry mass in a retail vial.

Is a 50 mg vial 50 mg of copper?

No. The label refers to the GHK-Cu complex. The supplier document reports 11.51% copper in its sample; that figure cannot be used to confirm the copper mass in a PEPTALIAS vial.
